Project Anglerfish

The Anglerfish is built from a standard robot kit, designed to push other robots off the table.

This one is modified to fight.

It has these tweaks:

  • Chassis – inverted for low, condensed center of gravity
  • Wheel servos – repurposed for horizontal motion
  • No IR sensors – just the transmitting LEDs, to lure in opponents
  • Harpoon claw – from my time in FIRST Robotics (Team 677)
  • Shuriken

It’s a Parallax SumoBot. Plus.
