PalmLight

When the lights go out, the PalmLight comes on.

Its sensor detects when it loses power – whether you’ve picked up the PalmLight from its dock, or a storm has downed a line – and it instantly turns on.

Small neodymium magnets attach the light to its inductive charging base, aligning it perfectly with no need for wires. A translucent dome diffuses the internal LED lights.

Adapted technologies: wireless Touchstone charging base, donated by Palm; Arduino
